Srinagar: The International Forum For Justice and Human Rights, Jammu and Kashmir Tuesday said that the forces have tortured a resident of Tral after he was arrested by the Jammu and Kashmir Police and detained in Awantipora police station in February, this year.
In a statement the chairman of Forum Muhammad Ahsan Untoo said that the Jammu and Kashmir police arrested Muzammil Qadir Bhat, son of Ghulam Qadir Bhat, a resident of Laraw village in southern Kashmir’s Tral from his home.
He said that Muzammil was detained at police station Awantipora.
