Pak-British Arts first Mefil-E-Mushaera in District Chakwal

Chakwal is known as the land of martyrs. Also is a region that has made great names in Urdu literature. Looking at the big stage these literary personalities played their full role for the promotion of Urdu literature. Continuing the same literary journey, President Pak-British Arts Chakwal Bilal Shabbir Hadi and vice-president Pak-British arts Chakwal Asim Munir Aashi organized a poetic festival (Mefil-E-Mushaera) in Chakwal District for the first time under Pak-British Arts with the efforts of Reigional Head PBA north Tallat Munir.
Held on Sunday, May 6th, 2021 at the residence of Vice President PBA Chakwal Asim Munir Aashi, the event was hosted by President PBA Chakwal Bilal Shabbir Hadi and Vice President PBA Chakwal Asim Munir Aashi. Apart from eminent poets, political and social personalities of the country, journalist, columnists, literary people and young poets also attended the function. After lunch at 1:30pm Event was started properly. Asim Munir Aashi performed the duties of the stage director. The ceremony began with Tilawat-E-Quran. Famous poet of modern age Irfan Khani (Gold Medalist), was the Cheif guest. Among the special guests were Chief Editor Safi Namah, Poet and Journalist Safiuddin Safi and Reigional Head and President Pak British Arts North Zone Talat Munir. Other poets who participated in this event, President Pak-British Arts Chakwal Bilal Shabbir Hadi, Vice President PBA Chakwal Asim Munir Ashi, President PBA Fateh Jang Sardar Fakhar Abbas, Urdu and Dhani poet Naveed Aslam, modern writer Prof. Azmat Shehzad Azmi, Sadeem Ariz, Naeem Sarkar, Faizan Faizi, Haider Ali Haider, Subhan Khalid, Danish Iqbal, Shahzeb Asad and Hamad Zaif. Political and social personalities like Haji Muhammad Ishtiaq, Muhammad Shabbir Ghauri and Raja Abdul Qadir were also there. Advocate Zaheer-ud-din Babar Rajput and Haji Muhammad Ishtiaq delivered special speeches. Advocate Zaheer-ud-Din Babar thanked all the participants for participating in the literary event and said, “It is very important to hold such events must continue for the promotion of Urdu literature. I am very happy to see senior urdu poets, journalists and writers with our youth. Urdu is our national language and we all must promote as its our national duty.” Reigional head north and President PBA Islamabad Mr. Talat Munir congratulated the host Bilal Shabbir Hadi, Asim Munir Aashi and other poets on the successful organization of the poetic event. He said it was difficult to arrange such gathering in presents circumstances but its our huge success that we are on it. We will continue this work in future as well.
Cheif guest Irfan khani said that “i am here for the better future of our youth. Bilal Shabbir Hadi and Asim Munir Ashi both are good poets and their positive activities shows that they will meet susscess”.
